2011 Altima Hybrid near Buffalo, NY

Here at West Herr Nissan, we’d like to introduce you the new Nissan Altima Hybrid is the greener alternative to the standard Altima Sedan or Altima Coupe. For the latest model year, Nissan has updated  its first gas/electric hybrid, a car that uses hybrid technology.

Tthe 2011 Nissan Altima Hybrid is powered by a 40 horsepower electric motor, but at higher speeds a four-cylinder 158 horsepower gas engine takes over. The CVT (continuously variable transmission) aids in the car’s fuel economy and is available with a slightly different programming with CVT.

The Altima Hybrid uses an electric air-conditioning compressor instead of a belt-driven compressor so that the AC stays on when the engine shuts off. Aside from the changes to the A/C system, CVT programming and exterior badges.

The Altima Hybrid comes with an electronic stability system, traction control, electric power steering and anti-lock brakes. Also standard is Nissan’s Intelligent Key Feature that permits the engine to start as long as the key fob is inside the car.

The enhancements for the new model year, include a revised front end appearance, new 16-inch wheels, revised option package content, refined interior fabric and finishers and one new exterior color.

Also offered is a new premium audio system that includes a 4.3-inch color display, USB port with iPod connectivity, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, MP3/WMA CD-ROM playback, XM Satellite Radio and RearView Monitor.

There is also a next-generation Nissan Hard Drive Navigation System with 6.5-inch VGA color display and 9.3GB Music Box for music storage and playback.
